Tawa College Bilingual Provision – update 3

Thank you to everyone who attended our information evening earlier this month. We were pleased to announce at the meeting that we have appointed Nikki Weston to join our Enrolled School team. Nikki will be teaching in the Deaf provision at Tawa College and has already started with us. She is currently working closely with Mary Sleep from our Linden provision, who is supporting her preparation for next year.
Mary and Nikki are spending time working with the Tawa College Year 9 Dean to organise timetables and subject choices for 2025. The students who are attending from 2025 are being shown around and prepared as best they can for secondary school life.
