Kia Ora Koutou, recently Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand, held the first board student representative elections.

Firstly I'd like to thank our outgoing representatives Luca Bevin and Rahui Lee really for the valuable and important contributions over the last year, I certainly appreciated their insight and willingness to share their perspectives with us. Thank you, Lucas and Rahui.

Now I have the pleasure of introducing our two new student members of the board. They are Lukas Gill and Louis Tomlinson

Lukas is 15 and lives in Auckland and Louis 17 and lives in Cambridge.

Congratulations, Louis and Luka will look forward to welcoming you both at our next board meeting and look forward to working with you as we move into what is the new era in Deaf Education
