Our Auckland Preschool
At our Auckland campus, Ko Taku Reo offers a specialist preschool setting for children who are Deaf and hearing to learn alongside each other.
Our programme is based on the children’s strengths, interests and needs, strongly focusing on developing communication skills using New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) English and visual communication.
Delivered by qualified ECE teachers of the Deaf and through, the programme encourages communication and identity development through natural interactions between adults and children aged 2 to 5 years.
Our preschool is a licensed early childhood centre that operates during school terms from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 2.30pm.
