Ko Taku Reo School Board
In New Zealand, school boards are elected every three years. The election process for 2025 is underway.
Duties of the Board include:
- Setting the strategic direction and long-term plans for the school in consultation with the school community;
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress and achievement;
- Making sure the school focuses its strategic planning on improving student achievement through high quality teaching and learning programmes;
- Overseeing the management of staff, property, finances, curriculum and administration.
